Jane Chin Davidson is an art historian and exhibition curator whose research focuses on performance, decolonizing processes for global exhibitions, transnationalism, feminism, and Chinese identity in contemporary art. She currently serves on the editorial board of WEAD: Women Eco Artists Dialogue; for CAA Art Journal, and in Women of Color Leadership project for National Women’s Studies Association. Chin Davidson was awarded top honors with the Distinguished PhD Postgraduate at the University of Manchester, a British ESRC Fellowship at the Cultural Theory Institute, and a Getty Research Institute Postgraduate Fellowship. She is the recipient of the 2019 Outstanding Faculty Research award at CSUSB.  In addition to her monographs, edited books, and peer reviewed journals, such as the The Oxford Art Journal, she contributes to Hyperallergic and to other art criticism.
