My artwork gives voice to those whose voices go unheard: the animals whose world is being stolen by our over-consumption. My satirical and surrealist paintings feature anthropomorphized animals deconstructing industrial objects. Grizzly bears tearing down a freeway, Arctic and Antarctic wildlife laying waste to a Hummer dealership and farm animals sitting down to a dinner of Farmer John are some of the characters populating my paintings. This work is fed by my experiences as a grassroots environmental activist and wildlife rehabilitator.

I believe wholeheartedly that art can help to transform and heal society, and with the current political climate, that artists have a responsibility to speak out against injustice. My art is cultural resistance against ecocide.
