Art landscape of recycled highway materials & native plants on site of 1989 earthquake freeway collapse. A positive "gateway" of renewal. Free eco-Iandscape course taught in neighborhood center by college instructors. Graduates of the course were paid stipends to install Artscape, earning recommendations for future jobs.
