MENTAL, ECOLOGICAL OR SOCIAL ISSUES. ENJOY WORKING COLLA-
BORATIVELY, WITH CHILDREN AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION. ALSO, RAKU-FIRED METAL AND CLAY AND WOOD-FIRED CERAMICS.

INSTALLATIONS INCLUDE:

Making Waves-A Ripple Effect 1997-
Addressing water issues and endangered species. Part of exhibit: GUILLERMO, THE GOLDEN TROUT, 50 ft. 800 lbs. recycled metal, remains on view at the Richmond Art Center, Richmond, California, a symbol of hope, having been recently removed from the endangered list due to creative survival eftorts.

Celebrating Children 1995
Pernanent public kiosk designed and executed with elementary school children at BART station in Richnond, CA.

Olive Tree Requiem 1994-5
On World Conflict and VIolence, Oakland Museum rooftop olive grove garden. We tied 38,000 white ribbons commemorating 3,800,000 lives lost in 24 areas of current Conflict in the world. With Valerie Otani and Elizabeth Stanek.

I believe we have an innate desire to heal; with compassion and the creative spirit, we have the power to reverse negative environmental impacts with positive solutions and hope for healthy survival.
