I AM SEEKING: Installation space at Galleries, & Museums
ARTWORK: Sculpture—pedestals, wall frames large installations using post-consumer tin material. Art Jewelry using post-consumer tin material as a commentary of value.

As a recycling evangelist I re-use post-consumer tin materials as the foundation of my art. My work focuses on a range of social issues in our consumer society. Several different series interweave such subjects as advertising; the concept of craft and art as a consumer product; along with gender-related topics of domestic roles, dieting and body image.

Current work: "grass." Nine foot square (81 square feet) installation of grass cut from recycled tin containers that reflect our consumer society. However perfect grass is sustained only by spending time and money at an even greater cost to our environment. This grass sculpture (supplemented with historical magazine articles, contemporary environmental issues and lawn mower audio) will travel throughout the United States. Looking for exhibition venues. 8:45 minute video available.
